Women too have testosterone but in much smaller amount than men.

Most people can able to take garlic without side effects. However, if you have acid reflux or taking high dose, there can be certain side effect which includes

  • Diarrhea

According to an article published in BBC, Science, and Nature, it states that 4 cloves of raw garlic a day can help restore erection in men and in the long-term, it can also prevent more serious risks of diseases.

It insists that most erectile dysfunction can be helped with medical or dietary intervention such as Viagra or garlic.

However, it makes it clear that it will not work where erectile dysfunction is caused by psychological factors.

Garlic is both available in the form of powder or capsules on the market

Some source suggests taking a dosage range of 600-1200mg a day, divided into multiple doses.  It can be taken with a meal two or three times a day.

Aged garlic extract is one of the popular forms to use as supplementation, as it does not have a fresh garlic scent.
